In honor of Luis Diego Gómez Pignataro, OTS will hold a half-day symposium entitled Las Cruces Discovered: A Sampling of Botanical, Ecological, and Ethnomedicinal Research on February 27th at the Las Cruces Biological Station. Luis Diego, who passed away on 13th November 2009, was station director at Las Cruces for almost 20 years and his absence will be deeply missed by many. Please join us in honoring his many years of commitment to OTS and his incredible contribution to tropical science and research as a whole.
