Welcome to the Duke University Studio Abroad Application System. By clicking on the link above, you will be redirected to an external page that is monitored by Duke University’s Global Education Office. Please know that in order to apply to an OTS Undergraduate Program, you MUST apply through this site. We no longer have a paper application. Prospective REU & NAPIRE students should not apply here. These programs have separate applications that are detailed on each respective webpage on the OTS website.

Please review the instructions below to navigate through the initial stages of the application process. Although this is a simple process, you may want to print out these instructions as you proceed.

• Click on the highlighted link above, which will take you to the application site.
• Review ALL instructions on the initial webpage (important for both Duke and non-Duke students).
• In the upper-left hand corner, click on ‘Programs’.
• In the field ‘Program Name’ enter ‘OTS’.
• Click on the OTS program to which you wish to apply:
• OTS Costa Rica Tropical Biology (Summer)
• OTS/Duke in Costa Rica - Tropical Biology
• OTS/Duke in South Africa - Savanna Ecology
• OTS/Global Health - Tropical Medicine and Public Health
• On the program specific page, click on ‘Apply Now’ to begin your application.
