• Library containing a collection of reprints of La Selva-related publications, complete set of Biotropica, floras of Costa Rica, Barro Colorado Island, Panamá, Guatemala, and Río Palenque, basic biological and statistical references; recent OTS course books; a taped language course in Spanish; and a small but highly pertinent collection of books related to rain forest and tropical biology. The station receives Science and Current Contents.
• Reference collections: laminated photocopy herbarium (about 95% of flora represented); fish and herps (photos)

Laboratory

La Selva offers 1000 m2 of laboratory infrastructure where station users can have personal working space with or without Air Conditioning (A/C). There are 22 offices of different sizes, with a total of 22 desks, plus benches and working tables to accommodate users according to their needs and the amount of time they will stay at the Station.
